Yael Dryzin (b. 1986) is an Israeli painter, a graduate of Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (2014). Dryzin’s artistic language is associated with the tradition of figurative painting, using oil on canvas, and moving between a realistic depiction and lyrical expression. Her works deal with the issue of femininity in modern community life and in the relationship between spouses. Dryzin’s paintings often describe a community of women from her personal environment, supporting each other during significant times life events such as marriage, birth and more.
