Gidi Gilam | גידי גילעם

Gidi Gilam is an Israeli born artist based in Berlin, with a BA in history and philosophy from Tel Aviv University and a B.Des. from Bezalel Academy of Art & Design, Jerusalem. His paintings bring form to his artistic research on the impact of images on us as viewers, whether it is in the political, economical or social sphere. The paintings are based on a collage of images from Gilam’s ever growing archive of images – collected photos from the internet (mainly social media), magazine scans and personal photos.
