Ori carmely (b. 1982) is an Israeli artist, living and working in Tel-Aviv. He Holds an MFA from the Bezalel Academy of Fine Arts and an MSC from the Architecture Faculty in Haifa’s Technion. He won several Prizes and Scholarships as both artist and researcher.
Carmely is known for collaborative and socially engaged projects presented through video, performance and works on paper. His work explores the aesthetics of power. He is currently working on a series of large works on paper dealing with the recent immigration crises, to be exhibited in Dusseldorf, Germany in early 2021.
