Tamar Lev-On (b. 1978) is an Israeli artist, a graduate of Tel Aviv University (Architecture Department) and Kingston University, London (Art department), both with honors. Her work mainly explores fictional narratives. She often features her portrait in a fake identity, woven into real and local histories or made up and site-specific ones.
Lev-On regularly participates in solo and group exhibitions in Israel and abroad, including two Venice Biennials (2009, 2011). She is a regular member of collaborative groups such as the South London Women Artists and in recent years P8 Cooperative Gallery.
