Aleksandra Wilczynska | אלכסנדרה וילצ'ינסקה

Aleksandra Wilczynska is a visual artist working in a range of mediums including drawing, object making, video, photography and performance. She graduated from Hunter College, New York and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (MFA studies).

Her recent project evolves around a fictional airline company called “FreiAir”, deriving its name from the Hebrew word for ‘sucker’. The work explores the concept of global ‘freierness’ as means of a new economical structure, generating the production of objects which represent the company. The drawing depicts the most recent FreiAir add campaign, advertising free travel during the Corona crisis.
