Rona Perlman (b. 1988) is an Israeli artist, living and working in Tel Aviv. She has a BFA with high honors from HaMidrasha Faculty of Arts. Her work ranges from abstract to figurative, while examining the relationship between the painting’s materials and its contents. Her means range from the classical practice of painting on canvas to collages and monotypes using unconventional materials – the most prominent of them carbon paper.
Perlman has taken part in the Artist Residence, The Herzliya Center for the Creative Arts (2015), as well as the VSC residency program for visual artists and writers in Vermont, from which she has received an artist grant (2014). Her works have been exhibited in various venues, including The Israel Museum in Jerusalem, The 6th Biennale for Drawing in Jerusalem and Musa – Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv.
