Mark Glezin (b. 1985) is a painter based in Tel-Aviv. He works in two methodologies: one which depicts images from life, found in his studio or outdoors, and another which depicts images from his own photographic references. The first method of painting is primal, direct, personal and ‘of the moment’. The second is conceptual, long term, with an attempt to show a social point of view. Both of Glezin’s painting methodologies aspire to deal with existential concerns, which stem from intense observational habits at both the immediate and extensive surroundings.
